Why logic riddles are not icebreaker prompts
Icebreaker warms a room with opinion questions. Logic riddles expect one answer you can check after thinking. This page exists for teachers, puzzle nights, and commute boredom when you want a brain teaser with a reveal button, not a debate. We ship hundreds of original or rewritten Q and A pairs tagged by category. No scraped riddle farms. The puzzles hub may link here later if more puzzle URLs exist. Random word is for drawing nouns, not lateral thinking. Control-V is for three nouns in a scene.
How to use the riddle panel
Optionally filter by category: logic, math, or word. Press Next riddle to show a new unused question. Think, then press Reveal answer when the group is ready. Press Hide answer to cover it again for the next person. Press reset pool when the deck should restart. Copy is available for the question text; share links omit the answer on purpose. How riddles are drawn and stored
Locale JSON loads hundreds of {q, a, cat} rows at build time. Category filter keeps rows whose tag matches. Shuffle and pop use crypto.getRandomValues without replacement until reset. Answers stay hidden in the DOM until reveal toggles them for accessibility and spoilers. We do not claim the deck is every riddle ever written. Empty and reset strings are localized. Who this riddle deck is for
