Why steal order is not Secret Santa
White elephant (Yankee swap) needs a sequence: who picks from the pile first, who can steal later. Secret Santa assigns a hidden recipient. A raffle picks one winner. This page exists so a holiday party can paste Names, generate steal order, and print it next to the gifts. We do not enforce house steal limits or max steals. Ads stay off. If you need hidden giver-receiver links, use Secret Santa. If you need teams, use the team generator. TheOwlBay does not ship gifts.
How to use the white elephant

How the order is shuffled
Names are shuffled with crypto.getRandomValues into a list from first picker to last. That is a fair permutation, not true random, not a ranking of nicest gifts, and not a server lock. Everyone stays on the list; nobody is removed as a raffle winner. We do not store the party on a TheOwlBay account. localStorage holds the names on this device. House rules about steal caps are yours to announce. Ads stay off. Weighted tickets do not apply; if someone bought extra, that is a raffle, not this sequence.
Who this party tool is for
Holiday hosts, office parties, and friend groups who already understand white-elephant / Yankee swap rules will print a steal order here. It is not Secret Santa, not a bracket, and not a seating chart. Print the order and put it by the gift pile. TheOwlBay does not require an account. If someone must be excluded from sitting together, use seating. If you need who buys for whom, use Secret Santa. Ads stay off.
